Dr. Raj C.N. Thiagarajan is an engineering doctorate, innovator, and author with over 35 years of experience across premier institutions like IITB, DRDO, and GE. He leads ATOA Scientific Technologies, a firm renowned for cutting-edge innovations in MultiPhysics engineering.

Raj's passion, is Multiphysics Engineering Design and Engineering Innovation.  

Raj is Recipient of many awards and accolades throughout his school, academic and industrial carrier.

Dr. Thiagarajan has authored numerous Technical Publications and Patents, along with successful  innovative products in the market.

Raj, a visiting faculty to academic management institute (SIBM), award winning lecturer at GE and many technical conference keynote speaker.

Raj’s patent portfolio spread are about 30% of new product innovation,  15% in nanotechnology, 25% about energy related and remaining 30% about engineered materials or novel applications. Nature inspired spatial optimization for wind blade, sandwich structures, nano foam, structural optics and counter intuitive negative Poisson ratio based articles, High performance CMUT, Superior Battery, Direct Solar, are some of novel concepts patented.

Raj’s Publications spans from innovation strategy to technical deep dive into engineered material mechanics, nano technology, multiphysics, composites and computational mechanics.
